Shocking news, everyone: it’s DECEMBER! But at least we’ve got some holiday specials to enjoy – starting with the Guardians of the Galaxy one that came out recently! Let’s watch that and talk about it, huh?

But that may not be enough holiday spirit for us, so let’s also pitch some special presentations of our own! Imagine, if you will: Nathan Fillion finally joins the MCU in an ULTRA cheery story straight out of the 1991 Marvel Holiday Special! Werewolf By Night and Man-Thing fend off burglars in a monster-ized “Home Alone” style adventure! A holiday card from The Thing kicks off a bizarre claymation-animated odyssey straight outta Marvel Two-In-One! Miserly Bruce Wayne is plagued by ghost Robins in a Wayne Manor Christmas Carol! Are you ready for… the Twelve Nights of What If…? And there are plenty more under the podcast tree!

333: Kraven’s Cool Garfield Vest

It’s time to get silly! About being serious. This week, we take your non-nonsense, grim and dark, serious characters and turn them into something light-hearted, fun and zany! And then… we do the opposite!? Richie Rich gets spooky, kooky, and altogether ooky! Carnage becomes a little scamp in the Sunday funnies! Ben Grimm gets GRIM. Kraven the Hunter becomes Kraven the FUNter! And more pitches sure to drive any “too serious” fan over the edge… with laughter! (and hopefully not rage.)

In the warm-up, it’s a pitch for Capcom to resurrect the Marvel fighting game as a “Darkstalkers” style spin-off starring Dr. Strange, Scarlet Witch, and so many other Marvel magic characters! And such news: Bry gets manic about Michael Keaton getting manic! Merk gives ya all the Jack of Hearts developments your heart can handle! And Kyle has got a sweet tip on a modded Marvel vs. Capcom game that may just be perfect. Perfect… like this episode. (Nah, just kidding, but we hope you like it.)

304: Shuma-Gorath Does Laundry on Mondays

This week, we’re tumbling out of bed and stumbling to the kitchen, pouring ourselves a cup of ambition, and yawning, stretching, and talking about super heroes with day jobs. From the ones with crappy jobs, like Hal Jordan selling toys door to door and Captain America being an artist for Marvel Comics pre-creators’ rights, to the ones we wish characters had, like Batman’s Discovery Channel hit, Keeping up with the Waynes, or Doctor Strange turning the Sanctum Sanctorum into a rooming house.

It even takes over our Warm Up, where we try to give jobs to a bunch of characters who don’t really have prescribed ones (spoiler: a lot of them just end up as bouncers at a strip club). And there’s news! You knew that! Get back to work!
